The Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has visited the Emir of Daura, Dr Umar Farouk Umah, in his palace, as part of his inspection tour to the University of Transportation, Daura.

During the visit, the Honourable Minister thanked President Muhammadu Buhari who laid the foundation of the institution and the Emir for providing land for the University, while calling for continuous support for the project. He particularly thanked the Emir for the audience given on the short notice.
He commended CCECC for their willingness to construct the University at no cost, and announced TEAM Nigeria Limited’s decision to offer free consultancy services for the project.
Responding, the Emir thanked President Buhari and the Minister for the decision to site the University in Daura, while further promising the support of the emirate.
