BRIEF ABOUT THE FOUNDER/PUBLISHER, DR. TOM OHIKERE
He is the CEO and publisher of APC NewsOnline, a two-time Commissioner of Information to Kogi State Government and currently, the Managing Director of TAEEIAI Media Company LTD.
He has received many awards and honors for his role in the media, politics and Philanthropy.
He is a Fellow of the Civilian Institute for Democratic Administration, Chattered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics Ghana, Fellow of the Africa Institute of Public Administration and holds a Higher Diploma, B.Sc. in Mass communication, an Honorary Doctorate of Letters, and an Honorary Doctor of Public Administration of the London Bridge Business School.
As a strategist and tactician, he has advised national and regional governments on best practices on societal growth and development. He has devised and implemented a broad range of public relations and marketing techniques to support the public and private sectors.
He conducted the first Kebbi State International Industrial Summit in Kebbi State in 1997 for the Kebbi State Government. He initiated and coordinated the Nigeria Survival Conference in conjunction with the Senate Committee of the National Assembly on Poverty Alleviation in 2001. Between 2001 and 2007, he was the architect of National Primary Education Productivity Award in conjunction with the Universal Basic Education Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria through which the Federal Government and most State Governments’ in Nigeria benefited enormously.
He is an active participant in the Annual Nigeria Economic Summit.
