Achieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi, has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, describing him as a listening and humble leader who is not carried away by the allure of power.
Okeyomi, who is Chairman of Ondo Solidarity Forum (OSF), a frontline group within the state’s APC, stated this in a statement he issued yesterday, calling on all stakeholders in the party to ensure that Aiyedatiwa come tops in the coming gubernatorial primary election.
The OSF chairman, popularly known in political circles as Carry Go, also remarked that with ground-breaking achievements recorded by Aiyedatiwa within the short period of assuming office as governor, the other contenders in the race to secure the party’s ticket are no match for him.
“It must be given to Governor Aiyedatiwa that he is a humble and listening leader, one who is not in any way carried away by the allure of power. On every occasion I called him on phone, he picked, chatting pleasantly with me like a next-door neighbour.
“In less than two months in office, he has exceeded the expectations of the people as he first set about offsetting backlog of unpaid salaries and putting all government contractors on their toes, to deliver effectively, and to time.
