Imo State Governor, Chief Hope Uzodinma will lead other leaders and Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress APC to Anambra State on Friday
The APC Southeast leaders are coming to address the Anambra State stakeholders of the party in Awka, on the need to come together as one body ahead of the November governorship election
The decision, The reporters gathered, was the outcome of the Southeast Stakeholders meeting held in Owerri, Imo State recently
Other Stakeholders expected in Anambra State included former governors of Abia, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Senator Rochas Okorocha of Imo State
Others were, Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, Senators and House of Representatives members of APC from the five Southeast among others
The meeting would be addressed by the Anambra State stakeholders including Senator Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment among others
The Newsmen gathered that messages had already been sent to all the Stakeholders, including the governorship aspirants
The meeting which would hold at one of the Hotels along the Enugu -Onitsha expressway, would have all those contesting for the Anambra governorship election present
One of the APC Chieftains, who disclosed this to The Newsmen, said the march to Agu -Awka (government House) had begun
The major point of the stakeholders meeting, it was learned was the 2021 November governorship election in Anambra State.
The Caretaker Chairman of APC in the State, Chief Basil Ejidike, had maintained that his duty was to get it right for APC in Anambra State, using the November election as a stepping stone.
