Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has rallied for global support for long-term funding to tackle Lagos’ water shortage at a side meeting during the United Nations Climate Summit in Dubai.
The Governor placed emphasis on the need for sustainable financing to meet our city’s growing demand for safe water.
Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, shared this on his X handle on Saturday, December 2.
He wrote, “#COP28: Lagos State Governor @jidesanwoolu rallied global support for long-term funding to tackle Lagos’ water shortage.
