Nasarawa State governor Abdullahi Sule, on Thursday, announced Mr. John Mamman as Caretaker Committee Chairman for the period of six months in the State.
Governor Sule, who announced the appointment of Mr. John Mamman said the development follows the death of Philip Tatari Shekwo who was brutally killed by a gang of assassins recently.
He also explained the need for the caretaker’s committee follows the directive from the national working committee to dissolved all APC excos at the national level.
The governor also said the appointment of the new caretaker committee Chairman was the decision of part’s stakeholders which has in attendance the two past governors Abdullahi Adamu, Umaru Tanko AL-Makura, and the immediate past governorship aspirant Aliyu Wadada and others big fish of the party in the State.
The governor also explained that the need to allow all other excos to continue was because of the good work the leadership is been doing for the party in the State.
Mr. John Mamman until his appointment he was Special Adviser to the governor on Local government and Chieftaincy affairs and community development.
