2023: MASSOB to Jonathan, Tinubu, Yahaya Bello, Don’t Contest for presidency

The Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has cautioned former President, Goodluck Jonathan against contesting the 2023 presidential election.

MASSOB was reacting to speculations that some governors are attempting to stress Jonathan into contesting the 2023 presidential election.

But the APC Caretaker Chairman, Mala Mai Buni had dismissed claims that the {party} was making an attempt to persuade Jonathan to contest in 2023 on its platform

described the insinuation as a hypocritical transfer aimed toward inflicting a political discord amongst folks of the Southeast.

A press release by the group’s chief, Uchenna Madu additionally urged Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State against working for the president.

According to Madu: “Former President, Goodluck Jonathan and his Ijaw kin ought to be smart sufficient to discern this refined and hypocritical transfer of Arewa governors. Madu insisted that the Southeast ought to be allowed to provide Nigeria’s president in 2023.
