The 56-member Senate Ad hoc Committee on the review of the 1999 Constitution headed by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has named Senator Smart Adeyemi Chairman of the 25 member Sub Committee on Current bills and memos.
The Chairman of the Committee, Senator Ovie Omo-agege Constituted four (4) Sub Committees yesterday. The Committees are:
1. El- Rufai Report on Restructuring
2. Confab Report and other Reports of 2014
3. Committee on Review of Previous Constitutions

Speaking at the meeting, Senator Omo-Agege reiterated that the selection was done based on the wealth of experience of the Senators selected.
He further expressed optimism that these selected senators will work tenaciously towards achieving the aims and objectives of the review.
