Today in Katsina, I stood side by side with Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, our respected leader, to welcome the Katsina Youth in Politics led by their fearless Chairman, Comrade Hassan Bindawa, into the ADC family. What began as a non-political movement has now transformed into a bold political force, joining our coalition in their hundreds to take ownership of Nigeria’s future. Their decision to decamp is a clear rejection of the failed promises and tired politics that have held back the youth for too long.
Comrade Hassan Bindawa and his team have shown courage by picking interest in ADC’s 40% affirmative action for youth and women. This is not tokenism, it is a guarantee of real participation, real opportunities, and real power for young people and women who have been sidelined for decades. Unlike the old parties that only remember you at campaign season, ADC has put youth and women at the center of its structure and agenda.
As your National Youth Leader, I reassure every young person in Katsina and across Nigeria that the ADC is your home, your platform, and your voice. We are not begging for a seat at the table, we are building a new table where youth and women lead from the front. To the Katsina Youth in Politics, led by Comrade Bindawa, I say welcome to the struggle. Together, we will prove that the future does not belong to those who cling to power, but to those who are brave enough to claim it.
