Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, met with Queen Camilla at the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition Awards Ceremony.
Sanwo-Olu was accompanied by his wife, Ibijoke, according to photos shared on the Governor ‘s Facebook page on Friday.
The photos, which showed Sanwo-Olu’s wife, Ibijoke, read: “My wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and I were guests of Her Majesty the Queen, Camilla, at the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2023 Award Ceremony, a celebration of 140 years of championing the voices of youth, literacy, and creativity across the Commonwealth.
“This year, Lagos State’s participation and support saw a remarkable surge in entries to a record-breaking 34,924 from 50 Commonwealth countries; a testament to our commitment to nurturing creativity and expression in our youth.
