The race for the 2023 general elections has started. It’s important to note that the real election happens some months before the election day itself. During this period, party primaries and proper campaigns will happen and will determine who will have higher chances of winning the election
The office of the President of the country is one that seems very important. The incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari, will finish his tenure and someone will have to elected to the position. The race will be keen and tight. We have heard names like Atiku, Tinubu, and even Saraki amidst those who might have the opportunity to ace this office.
However, in the situation we find ourselves in today, I believe it’s time we find young blood who already understands politics to take the mantle of leadership. Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state could be a good candidate. Already, there are talks about his candidacy in Kogi state. Also, the current speaker of the state has backed the agenda of him being President.
