Senator Abdul Ningi is to head a senate investigative panel set up to ascertain why the East-West Road has been abandoned despite huge expenditure.
The East-West Road is located in the heart of oil rich Rivers state of the Niger Delta region.
Senate’s seven man panel of inquiry also includes a former Labour Leader, and Edo state Governor, Senator Adams Oshiomole.
Others are; Senators Sherafadin Ali, Iqra Aliyu Bilbis, Abubakar Ohere, Osita Mgbu, and Mpigi Berenada.
