The APC governorship candidate in Adamawa, Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed popularly known as Binani has alleged that she has an evidence of where the Governor of Adamawa State and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmadu Fintiri held INEC returning officer hostage to come up with fake election results.
Binani who spoke in an interview with Channels Television alleged that the INEC REC in the state was misled by the incumbent governor to declare the fake results in the state after the ruling party had rigged the elections in their favour all because they want Fintiri to remain the incumbent governor.
She further alleged that Fintiri in a Local Government Area (LGA) in the state asked a member of his cabinet to go and force the INEC returning officer in the council to come up with a concocted result and declare Adamawa result and she has the evidence of where Fintiri held INEC officer hostage to come up fake election results.
He said, “I have evidence of where Fintiri forced an INEC returning officer to come up fake results. Like in one local government, he forced a member of his cabinet to go there and force the INEC returning officer to come up with a concocted result and declare that result. I have evidence of that and in fact they were held hostage to do that, they had to do it and run for their dear life. So with that kind of violence, how can any sensible REC declare you winner?”
