
The Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Okene in Kogi state, has approved the appointment of Dr.Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale as the Substantive Provost of the College, with effect from 27th September,2025.
The statement signed by Jibril Abdulrahaman ANIPR, Director of Information/ Public Relations, said the approval arised from the processes for the appointment of a substantive Provost for the College,
According to him, Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale before his appointment, is a member of the College Governing Council representing the Academic Board and also the Director of Examination. “He is also a chief lecturer in the department of social studies. The statement said
Born on 30th June,1968 and hails from Ogori, in Ogori / Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State.
He holds the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1991 and thereafter between 1993 to 1997 he was at the famous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he bagged his Bachelor of Education, in Social studies. subsequently, he bagged both his Masters and Ph.d from University of Benin.
