Betta Edu Charges APC Women To Be Focused

As the 2023 general draw closer, the National Women Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Betta Edu has urged women to be focused on delivering victory for the party in next month’s presidential poll.

The women leader said this during a meeting with members of the APC Progressives Women Forum at the media centre today Thursday January 19, 2023.

“The last two weeks to this election we have three programs to put pressure on the polity. These are: The flag off of the Canvassers, the Door to Door and Tinubu’s Area Intervention. Our target is to go to the hard to reach areas but with huge voter registration for the victory of our party.

“We are not going to be Abuja based any longer, we will deliver our message, party logo, and other things required from door to door.

“Our mama Gida Gida will tell us the plans she has so that the same efforts can be replicated in the South as we knock on door to door across the entire country in order to deliver our candidate in the presidential election and other candidates of our party” she said.

“Please, I beg you to focus on working for the party. Don’t be loyal to me, be loyal to our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu, be loyal to APC and the Progressive Women Forum. Let us focus and deliver victory for our party.

“It is 37 days to the presidential election, we must work harder and sacrifice more.

Edu noted that the media is the power house of the party as the count down for next month presidential election kicks-off.

She encouraged them to leverage on both the traditional and social media by going all out to work and ensure that their voices are heard using all available media platforms to share the programs and activities of the party.

Edu who was visibly elated at the commitment of the women across the length and breath of the country charged them to up the ante weeks to the polls to ensure victory for the presidential candidate of the party and all other candidates.

She urged the women to have respect for leaders, eschew any action or utterance that may cause division or rivalry among the Progressive Women Forum. Rather, she implored them to strive to add value by working for the success of the party.
