As the intrigues surrounding the 2023 presidential race gathers momentum a group, Coalition of Student bodies, has thrown its weight behind Dr Ibrahim Bello Dauda as the man that posseses the qualities and competence to salvage and transform the country and should be president come 2023.
The group which made its position known on Tuesday in Abuja, was full of praise and approbation for Dr Dauda, also known as El – Dabi, said his ideology as a pan Nigerian and his skills as an excellent oratory and problem solver has endeared him with Nigerian students and youths across the length and breath of the country.
According to the leader of the coalition, Comrade Mujaheed Shuaibu The National President Of National University Students Says Nigerian youths and students can no longer stand on the sidelines while their fate and history is been decided by the older generations especially with the intermittent strike of the Association of Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the paralysis in the educational sector and the brutal toll it is taken on students nationwide.
He said, “Knowing the critical role of the youths in nation building and in electoral decision making and adjudging the 2023 general election to be a watershed in our national history, we have after due scrutiny all and sundry contenders for the highest office in the land, has found one man that has shown a rare light on our path through his professionalism, his politics, his sagacity, diligence, charisma and love for country.
“A man who has traversed the four corners of our beloved country and whose nationalism and ideology triumphs over the divide of tribe, class and sect. An Amazing Personality with passion for development and national transformation and whose manifestation has dotted his trail. a man who can bridge the gap between the young and old.
“That man is Dr Ibrahim Bello Dauda also known as El-Dabi. No one who has come in contact with him that will not see the bigger picture of Nigeria. Fervent and unyielding in his belief of a one united and greater Nigeria, recognized as a leader in global development.
They added that having a tested and trusted capacity, competence, and intellectual dexterity, they belief El – Dabi can restore Nigeria’s lost glory by grappling head on with the multiple crisis bedevilling the country, from the tertiary education/ ASUU crisis, Persistent insecurity, Economy development, Youth / Women empowerment and Job creation, corruption among others.
